ما علاقة الصحافة والجامعة وتكنولوجيا التواصل الاجتماعي بجائحة كورونا؟ وماهي آثرها على الثقافة العلمية في المجتمع الجزائري؟
بعيدا عن الجانب الطبي والبيولوجي للفيروس، هذا تسجيل مباشر لدردشة عفوية بين الدكتور يوسف محلو (أستاذ في الكيمياء الطبية بجامعة كارديف) و د. أسامه مطاطله (أستاذ في التفاعل بين الإنسان والحاسوب بجامعة بريستول) تطرقا فيها إلى ثلاث محاور:
١. الصحافة – من الدقيقة 0 إلى 18:00

يستمر الحراك الشعبي في الجزائر وتستمر معه المطالب السياسية، وتتمدّد معه رقعة الوعي وتتسع كل أسبوع بعد أن بدأت خافتة على إثر عقود من الصمت والترقب. لقد تدحرجت كرة الثلج وكبرت على مدار خمس جمعات كاملة، قدم خلالها الشعب الجزائري أرقى صور التحضر والسلمية فأبهر القريب والبعيد معا.
ولأنّ الوعي السياسي نتاج التنشئة والثقافة السياسيتين فإنّ الشبكة الجزائرية للأكادميين والعلماء والباحثين تثمّن هذا المسار الذي انتهجه الشعب وتشدّ على أيدي المخلصين الذين ما فتئوا يساهمون في التوعية والتثقيف منذ سنوات خلت، وها هي ثمرة مجهوداتهم بادية للعيان. Read More

Inspire Magazine speaks to Dr Yasmine Amhis, researcher at the Linear Accelerator Laboratory (LAL) in Orsay, a joint unit of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics (IN2P3) and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) and the University of Paris-Sud. In November 2016, Dr Amhis received the Grand Prix Jacques Herbrand in Physics awarded by the French Academy of Science for her contribution to the LHCb experiment at CERN with respect to the physics of heavy quarks. Prof Kamel Youcef-Toumi is a professor of mechanical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology leading research in automation and robotics with diverse application areas including high-speed atomic force microscopy, smart-grids, and mechatronic design for precision machines. Prof Belgacom Haba is one of the most successful Algerian researchers in field of electronics around the globe. He is a graduate of the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB) in Algiers and obtained his PhD from the University of Stanford. He holds more than 1100 patents and he is classified as one of the top 100 researchers in terms of the number of patents. He was also selected as the Algerian Scholar of the Year 2015.
